Kuhl's Contracting provides handyman services for smaller jobs throughout the West Metro of the Twin Cities.

We believe in helping people, even on the small jobs.

We help with smaller jobs for a reasonable hourly rate.  It’s as simple as that. We have only two conditions for taking on small jobs:

  • You are not a mean person.
  • You pay us for doing the work.

We'll be honest, small jobs don't make us a lot of money (that's why it's so hard to find people who do them). We offer this service because we believe in planting seeds. We know when you work with us on something small you will call us back for more work in the future. Now you know our secret plan.

Most of the small jobs we do are less interesting. Here are some recent examples:

Pricing

How much do you change your handyman services?

Keep in mind that we will never be the cheapest company in town.  Frankly, those people know exactly what their work is worth.  When it comes to small jobs we charge fairly for what we do.  Unlike the typical handyman, our small jobs division orbits around a large, award-winning remodeling firm, giving us access to a large stable of the very best tradesmen in the Twin Cities.  If your small job is not something one of our staff can handle directly we will bring in one of our talented partners to get it done right.

Handyman and Small Job Cost: We usually charge hourly for our people to be on site, plus materials. Depending on the nature of the work we normally charge between $85 and $105 per hour for small jobs.

Kuhls Contracting replaces many chimney flashings every year. This project was completed in Plymouth, Minnesota.
Squirrels chewed the edge of this cedar roof in St. Paul, Minnesota. We repaired the roof by replacing all the damaged shakes. Simple.
Squirrels went to town on this cedar shake roof in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This roof repair involved simply replacing the animal-damaged ridge.
Another damaged wood chimney, this one in Minneapolis. Repairing damaged wood is normally not a big job but sometimes accessing the work can be tricky.
Animal damage repair in Eden Prairie. Mice, squirrels and even raccoons damage homes all the time and for some reason we get a lot of these jobs but we love doing them.

  4. We will come out to your home and confirm our estimate.
